Established in 1987, European Environment, the Campaign is organized in various countries by the FEE, Foundation for Environmental Education. The Blue Flag awards for beaches: quality 'of water quality' of the costs, services and security measures, environmental education. The Blue Flag is given to the tourist ports: quality 'The Landing, services and security measures, environmental education and information.
