In 1346 the Greek island of Chios was occupied by the merchants of Genova, who kept possession until 1566. Thanks to them the island enjoyed a period of economic splendor. Still visible the coat of arms of the Giustiniani Family in some of the island's summer villas. This important family left Chios when the island was invaded by the Turks in 1822, and decided to reach Livorno, a cosmopolitan city where other families had already established. Together with Pietro Malenchini, another citizen of Fauglia, became promoters of the Tuscan Railways. Marchese Igino  Giustiniani built this elegant villa for sale, built on top of a sundrenched hill: the villa is south exposed and is  protected from cold winter winds while enjoys the summer breezes coming from the nearby Etruscan Coast. The exclusive green park of 4,000 square meters includes the courtyard around  the villa, the annex on two levels with panoramic terrace, a bread oven, a "limonaia" and 2 recovery rooms to be rebuilt.
